I had a few problems getting this to work, especially with Admin-SSL. Please go here to see my post and the work-around.
fantastic plugin, thanks a lot!
wymeditor is much better than the preinstalled wordpress editor.
I’ve figured out how to alter the autosave mechanism without changing the wordpress file. I’ll email you the details.
I’ve just emailed you the fix needed to enable the « Send to Editor » Media Management function.
Thank you Marcus.
I release a new version !
[...] meanwhile this popped-up too : Simple WYMeditor [...]
[...] currently use WordPress to publish my blog, and I recently discovered that there is a plugin (Simple WYMeditor) that lets you use my favourite online text editor – WYMeditor – to write blog posts. So far so good [...]
i use this, because i cannot get the broken tinyMCE fixed for 2.5.1, so first of all many many thanks. just one question: why doesn’t the html-editor allow me to add the -tag, it keeps getting converted to <–more–>
second try ;)
is getting replaced with html-entities, when i enter them.
hi. Thanks for plugin
perfect.

Salut Amaury,
Hi!
It doesn’t work with the most recent WordPress Version (2.6). The editor doesn’t change, I only get the default edit box. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Best regards,
Alexander Graf
check out my latest blog, I’ve found a workaround, just a simple code change
Update for WP 2.6.x, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-wymeditor/ :)
Hi,
Thanks Amaury for the plugin.
FYI WYMeditor 0.5b1 has been released. It now supports Gecko-based browsers (e.g. Firefox), MSIE, Opera, Safari and Google Chrome.

Cheers
Nice !!!
I will update my plugin ;)
Thanks for the plugin – I was delighted to find a WYSIWYM editor!
I’m confused about one thing. I can’t seem to add a page break to posts. If I do it manually by adding « » in the source view WYMeditor strips it out when saving.
Am I doing something wrong, or are pagebreaks not currently supported?
Edit: should have read
by adding <!–nextpage–>
This is a great hack for wordpress. Thank for make it!!!
very very good…
I’m from Brazil
thanks..

WordPress 2.7 support please?? Desperate!
Hi,
I’ve been trying to adapt this for 2.7, but cannot for the life of me get it to save properly. It doesn’t matter what I do, WP just ignores the submitted text.
I can’t get in touch with the author, so if anyone has had any success or knows a little about WP plugin development, I’d welcome some advice.

During most recent upgrade I get this error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare define_simpletags_path_plugin() (previously declared in /home/content/80/4957980/html/wp-content/plugins/simple-tags/simple-tags.php:38) in /home/content/80/4957980/html/wp-content/plugins/simple-tags/simple-tags.php on line 59
So I really love WYMeditor! It’s now 2010 and I’m using WordPress 2.9.2. How might I go about getting this plugin (or WYMeditor in general) to work with this newer version of WordPress?
